Dr. Anzeljc is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned the distinguished OSU Differentiation of Care-3 Rotation Student of the Year award in 2012, was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society at OSU, was president of the Student Interest Group in Neurology at OSU and was a member of the Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Anzeljc obtained his degree in medicine from The Ohio State University College Of Medicine in 2012, completed his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, in 2013 and his residency in Ophthalmology at Emory University in Atlanta in 2016. He then completed a fellowship in oculoplastic and orbital surgery at Emory University in Atlanta in 2018 before joining Baptist Eye Surgeons in August 2018.
In his spare time, Dr. Anzeljc enjoys spending time with his wife, Samantha, their five-year-old son, Luka, and seven-month-old twins, Micah and Noah. His community volunteer work includes performing vision screening for homeless veterans. Dr. Anzeljc also enjoys cooking, running, gardening, tennis, and restoring his 1966 Dodge Charger.
After visiting an Ophthalmologist in Johnson City who was not informative at all, I had a second opinion with Dr. A. We came up with a great course of action for my very dry eyes and the type of surgery I would require. I felt comfortable and confident I was in the right place with the right Dr!! Surgery in December.
